Regular attendance is directly correlated to academic achievement. Moreover, consistent school attendance is one means by which a student develops responsibility and self-discipline. It is expected that parents will support our expectations and encourage their children to have good attendance.
Students are expected to be at school by 7:25. If a student is not in class by 7:30, the student will be considered tardy.
As a school, we are required to track and report all tardies and absences to comply with Minnesota statutes. Please understand that with a student body of almost 1,000 students, well-managed attendance procedures are very important to minimize classroom interruptions and provide optimal learning conditions for all students.
