Monticello Magic Athletics
Middle School is a great time to try a new sport. Through involvement in extracurricular activities, students will make positive connections with other students, staff, and the larger school community. Participation, skill & character development, and having fun are the primary goals of the Monticello Middle School activities department with the partnership of the Community Education program.
It is our district’s belief that students who participate in extracurricular activities receive a wide range of benefits that help them grow as students and individuals within the team and/or group environment. Our goal is to create opportunities for students to extend their learning through additional school experiences. Lifelong skills such as accountability, teamwork, and time management are just a few of the valuable lessons that come from being involved; all of which enhance classroom and academic goals. Middle School students flourish when given an opportunity to develop new friendships among like-minded peers.
The MMS activities department & CE department believes in the district's overall goal of “Every Kid Every Day” and looks forward to providing positive extracurricular activities to all MMS students.
Sincerely,
Katie Frick
MS Dean of Students
