Monticello Middle School opens its doors daily to a vibrant community of almost 1,000 students spanning grades 6 through 8. Our commitment to the essence of a true middle school experience is unwavering, as we wholeheartedly embrace and embody the core principles and practices of middle school education.

At Monticello, we take pride in our dedicated staff, who foster a collaborative and team-oriented approach to learning. You're Invited: March Monti on the Move – Family Trivia!

Join Superintendent Olson on Saturday, March 14th, from 9:00–10:30 a.m. for a fun-filled morning of Family Trivia, hosted by high school senior Henry Steabner.

Families will compete as teams (please note: families with more than seven participants will be divided into two teams). The 90-minute event will feature:

  • 30 minutes of Movie Trivia
  • 30 minutes of Geography & History Trivia
  • 30 minutes of Sports Trivia

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd — and even last place!

Enjoy breakfast food while you play. This free event is open to all ages.

Location: Monticello High School Media Center ​​(5225 School Blvd)
Registration is required (space is limited to 50 participants).

Free Heart Screening for Young Adults (Ages 13–24) – April 18, 2026

Monticello High School is partnering with the Patrick Schoonover Heart Foundation to host a FREE Heart Screening for young adults ages 13–24 on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m.–3:20 p.m. at Little Mountain Elementary.

These screenings can help detect heart conditions that might otherwise go unnoticed. Registration is required (scan QR code in the flyer).

Please consider sharing this important opportunity with your family and friends. Getting screened could save a life.

Every Meal

Every Meal is a free opportunity for students to receive a bag of food in their locker at the end of the week. There are no financial qualifications so every student in our building is eligible. It's completely anonymous and free for each student.
